We don't have a future together.
We only have
right here, right now.

To the ego,
that's incredibly depressing.

But to recognise
the utter preciousness of this moment
liberates me from the need
to possess or control you.

In this timelessness,
we can truly meet.

Love is the disappearance of time
and the disappearance of
the story of 'relationship'.
It is the open field in which
true relationship -
true connection,
honesty,
commitment,
safety -
finally becomes possible.

We don't have a future together.
We only have
right here, right now.

And, to the heart,
that’s everything.
