The biggest trait people who trust
themselves have is the belief that
they'll be okay no matter what happens.

Not certainty about the outcome. Not a plan
for every scenario. Just a quiet confidence
that whatever comes, they'll find a way
through it.

Most people think self-trust means knowing
the right answer. It doesn't. It means
trusting that you'll figure it out, even when
you don't yet know how.

Anxiety is the belief that you need to control
the outcome because you won't survive it otherwise.
Self-trust is knowing you'll handle whatever it
turns out to be.

And you already have the evidence. Every
challenge you've been through, you found
your way through it. Every problem you didn't
know how to solve, you eventually solved.

At the time, you had no idea how you would
get through it. Yet somehow, you did.
