Love is not a relationship.
Love is a state of being.

Most people have never experienced love.
They have experienced need.
Dressed up as love.

Need says: I love you because you
make me feel complete.

Love says: I love you and I was already
complete.

One is a transaction.
The other is a gift.

This is why relationships built on
need Always collapse.

Because the moment the other person
stops filling the gap the love
disappears with it.

It was never love.
It was hunger wearing love's face.

Real love does not come from
another person.

It comes from the recognition
that you were never incomplete
to begin with.

When you are full, you can give without
losing anything When you love from
wholeness instead of emptiness, the
relationship becomes something
completely different.

Not two incomplete people trying to
complete each other. But two whole
people choosing each other. Without
need. Without desperation. Without the
constant fear of losing something that
was filling a hole.

That kind of love does not possess. It
does not control. It does not collapse
when the other person changes.

It simply is. Like light. Like air. like
everything that gives without keeping
score.
