A full moon offers us the medicine of illumination.
An opportunity to glimpse into the whole of this moment.
She shines her light into the darkness in the service of love, healing and grace.
The moon represents the process of the evolution of consciousness, pointing us towards the non-dual aspect of our nature that merges and opens in the liminal spaces. This lunation shines brightly in noble Leo, the embodiment of the cosmic heart.
It reminds me of the Buddhist concept of the heart-mind, where it is believed the heart has its own mind with which we can perceive and navigate the world. The heart-mind represents an integrated intelligence that this lunation is guiding us towards.
Leo is the golden, divine child whose heart radiates so brightly in their pure love that they evoke a delicious sense of playful self-expression that inspires love to open around them. It is the noble king or queen, ruling from a sovereign, glowing and rooted divine love.
This full moon activates the polarity of the Leo-Aquarius axis, where we have a stellium of energy in Aquarius pressing us to individuate out all that is not love in order to break us out of oppressive systems. Internal and external.
This is the dance between the cosmic heart that knows love and the cosmic mind that knows patterns and systems.
The heart-mind, if you will.
The genius of the visionary, cosmic mind without heart can become rigid, cold, artificial and unintegrated, rather than in service to the greater good.
Its shadow is where technology robs the earth rather than restoring Soul to humanity.
The mind disconnected from the heart can take to fear and disconnection, channeling genius in ways that do not honor the deeper desire of the water bearer to bring healing to our lives.
Too much heart and focus on self-expression without vision or concern for the greater good leads to ego and performance of all kinds.
This is the energy of the entitled king or queen disconnected from true love.
It confuses admiration with love and cannot receive the visionary truth of itself from the cosmic mind.
This is a time to examine the state of balance between heart and mind within and how this is impacting our lives.
We are being shown where we must rally responsibility to root ourselves in the soil of love and higher consciousness that can liberate rather than maintain status quo.
If we tend to avoid...
Can we lean in?
What might we feel that can break us open to love, trust and truth?
If we tend to cling...
Can we let go?
What might we feel that can finally break us open to love, trust and truth?
This is why we are feeling this so much in the realm of our relationships...there is, and will be an ongoing, heavy emphasis on the Aries-Libra axis for quite some time.
This axis is where we are living into the mystery of this eternal dance between self and other.
Too much of one or the other brings us out of the heart, disconnects us from the higher vision of purpose and love.
Neptune is activating a deeper spiritual purpose to Self, initiating the potential for altering the deeper, cultural patterning along this axis that expresses as codependency and power struggles.
Dynamics rooted in shame, the denser side of this Aries-Libra axis.
There is a whole, new vision of dynamic relating within ourselves, with each other and with the greater Cosmos that is rewiring itself.
This is very necessary, personally and collectively.
This is something greater that we already know to be true in our bones outside of space and time.
A deeper weaving of heart and mind that opens the way for the path of Soul.
To sit in the noble heart takes courage and responsibility.
Responsibility for care, impact, genius, vision and self-expression in service of something greater than ourselves.
To embody the authentic, visionary expression of one's individuality takes passion, dedication, courage, perseverance and trust in one's genius.
This is the dance.
The bridge here is to learn how to love what has never been loved before.
Inner divine child.
Exiled self.
Often one and the same, meeting at the pathway leading us to an integrated heart-mind.
May we tend to and heal the shame embedded in our personal, collective and ancestral hearts.
May we release the grief due to the lack of love so much of the modern world has been rooted in.
May we come to establish the seat of safety in the noble heart of the divine child, the vision of cosmic genius and creative nature of the holy human.
Quirks, wounds, vision, Eros, mistakes, love, light, compassion, forgiveness, grace and all.
More love,
